William F. Becker, Jr., CPA, MBA, Partner

Bill is a Certified Public Accountant and a Tax Partner at CB&H with more than 16 years of experience providing accounting, tax and advisory services to a wide variety of clients serving various aspects of the real estate industry, including real estate lessors, residential contractors, commercial developers, road builders, disaster recovery specialists, and real estate brokers and agents.

Based in the Firm’s Tampa office, Bill is a member of the Firm’s Real Estate and Construction industry group, serving as a tax consultant to many local residential and commercial real estate developers. Bill assists clients at all stages of the real estate life cycle, providing a full range of tax and business consulting services, including income tax and small business planning, cost segregation and depreciation modeling, merger and transaction services, sales and property tax planning, expert witness testimony, multistate tax issues, succession and gift planning and tax compliance and reporting.

Throughout his career, Bill has been involved in numerous real estate tax consulting engagements. He has represented clients before the Internal Revenue Service and in federal and state tax audits. He has also authored a number of articles on topics of interest to the real estate sector and regularly speaks on industry-specific tax matters at seminars throughout the state. Prior to joining CB&H, Bill served in tax positions at both public accounting firms and corporate tax departments.

Bill completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of South Florida. He is licensed as a CPA in the state of Florida, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA), the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the Tampa Bay Estate Planning Council. Bill also serves as a director for Chapters Health System.
