Managing Partner, Consulting & Advisory Services

As the Managing Partner of CB&H's Consulting & Advisory Services, Scott manages, develops and evaluates Consulting and Advisory personnel, and is responsible for managing the revenue, utilization of resources, and direct cost associated with the delivery of Consulting and Advisory services to our clients.

While working closely with both strategic and financial organizations, Scott has successfully advised clients undertaking acquisitions and divestitures with transaction values ranging from less than $10 million to over $300 million. These transactions have covered industry segments such as manufacturing and distribution, governmental contracting, technology, sports and leisure, food and beverage, business services, healthcare, life sciences and transportation. Scott also specializes in accounting for business combinations.

For more than 10 years Scott served a North Carolina-based pharmaceutical company as the engagement partner. In this role, Scott was responsible for coordination and oversight of all CB&H audits, tax, and consulting services provided to this client.  They experienced tremendous growth during the 20 years they were a CB&H client.  As the Company grew we were able to restructure our engagement team so the client never outgrew the capabilities of CB&H.  The Company was family owned and the second generation of family members managing the company ultimately accepted an offer to sell the Company to a private equity firm.  CB&H worked closely with the management team in structuring the transaction and ensuring their overall goals were achieved.

Scott is an active participant in CB&H’s membership with Baker Tilly International and also served as a member of the CB&H Executive Board.

Scott received a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the College of William & Mary and completed the Merger & Acquisition Program at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (NCACPA), and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (VSCPA).
