Cherry Bekaert Accountant Selected as FICPA Emerging Leader

Congratulations to Sara Dawson, CPA, senior tax accountant at Cherry Bekaert, on being accepted to the Florida Institute of CPAs’ (“FICPA”) Emerging Leaders Program. Dawson was one of 24 participants selected for the program, which helps prepare young leaders in the state of Florida lead the next generation of accounting professionals.
The selected leaders will participate in programs at one of six regions throughout the state: Ft. Lauderdale, Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando, Tallahassee and Tampa. As part of the Tampa region, Dawson will meet with local leaders in the accounting field, and local elected officials and leadership specialists. She and the rest of the participants will also attend the Emerging Leaders Summit this winter.
