Rob Martin Named Richmond Managing Partner at Cherry Bekaert

Cherry Bekaert LLP (“the Firm”), one of the nation’s top public accounting and consulting firms, is proud to announce Robert “Rob” E. Martin, III as the new Managing Partner of the Firm’s Richmond, Virginia, practice. In this role, Rob will oversee key client relationships and lead the strategic growth efforts for the practice.

A member of the Firm’s Executive Board, Martin will also continue serving as Cherry Bekaert’s Industry Leader for its Manufacturing & Distribution group and the lead assurance partner for the Richmond office. “Having started my career here in Richmond 20 years ago, I welcomed the opportunity to return to Richmond two years ago in preparation for this leadership transition. I have enjoyed reconnecting with the community and look forward to becoming increasingly engaged in the Richmond area,” remarked Martin. Martin is involved with the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) and Higher Achievement Richmond.
Martin received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance at Virginia Tech. His professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants and National Association of Manufacturing.
