Dawn Polin

A Senior Manager within Cherry Bekaert’s Accounting Methods and Credits & Incentives groups, Dawn is based in the Firm’s Raleigh practice. Serving clients across a variety of industries, she focuses primarily on Cost Segregation studies, Energy studies, and the recently implemented Tangible Property Regulations, as well as the federal and multistate taxation of closely-held and private equity/venture capital-owned companies.

With more than 16 years of experience, Dawn’s tax expertise includes compliance and planning for C Corporations and pass-through entities, consolidated returns, state and local compliance, federal deductions and credits, and tax accounting methods. She also spent several years in public accounting and previously served at a Fortune 500 company.

Prior to joining Cherry Bekaert, Dawn was a tax manager at a back office firm, providing financial and tax support to venture capital firms.
