Cherry Bekaert

As Managing Partner of the Firm’s Atlanta practice, Kip is responsible for overseeing key relationships for many of the Firm’s largest clients to ensure a coordinated and seamless client service experience for growing organizations. In addition to being an Audit Partner, he serves as the Managing Partner of Strategic Markets with oversight of the Firm’s growth strategy and execution. Kip is also a member of Cherry Bekaert’s Executive Management Team.

As a recognized financial expert in the Healthcare Industry, Kip places emphasis on audit and strategic advisory services for growth oriented, middle market clients. Organizations in healthcare, technology, life sciences and logistics look to Kip for guidance with financial, forensic, performance audits and strategic growth matters.

Kip began his career in Atlanta with an international accounting firm, and was admitted to the partnership of Cherry Bekaert in 1996. He was appointed by two governors to serve on the boards of various state agencies that establish and monitor state policy. He spent seven years on the nine member board of the Georgia Department of Community Health, establishing the state’s healthcare policies for Medicaid, the Children’s Health Insurance Program, certificates of need, rural health and state employee health benefit programs.
