Lauren Stinson

As a Principal with Cherry Bekaert, Lauren serves as the National Leader for the Sales & Use Tax practice within the Firm’s State & Local Tax group. She specializes in helping clients manage their sales and use tax processes in order to minimize sales tax exposure and maximize sales tax savings.

Based in Cherry Bekaert’s Atlanta practice, Lauren is an expert on tax issues that directly impact manufacturers on the state and national levels. She leverages her more than 25 years of professional experience to provide clients with sales and use tax consulting, as well as help manufacturing clients develop and benefit from effective sales and use tax compliance programs.

Lauren is a featured speaker at manufacturing association meetings and conferences, along with sales tax training seminars nationally. She is also a regular contributor to the Manufacturing and Georgia blog for SalesTaxSupport.com, and has published sales tax articles in national publications including Inc. Magazine and other manufacturing focus trade journals.

Prior to joining Cherry Bekaert via acquisition, Lauren was the owner and president of Windward Tax, a boutique sales and use tax specialty firm and founder and co-partner of IntegriTax, a sales and use tax consulting firm.
