The Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) has recently come under severe scrutiny following a GAO review . According to the GAO’s findings , the DCAA failed to meet professional audit standards in 65 of 69 audits between 2004 and 2006. Federal Times reported this week that senators in a hearing of the Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee have called for a separation and rebuilding of the DCAA. “We ought to start over,” Sen.
