In December 2013, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) issued a new circular (the “super circular”) to combine the requirements from eight previous grant circulars regarding Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards into one set of guidance. Federal agencies have begun issuing their proposed regulations to implement the new circular. This course will remind attendees of significant changes in the requirements and inform them of the proposed regulations which will affect their future grant awards and single audits.
Participants will be able to:
- Consider how the proposed regulations will affect their future grants
- Identify changes needed in their grant compliance internal controls and training
- Develop a plan for compliance with the proposed regulations
