CB&H's Melanie Burgess Graduates from NCMA’s CMLDP Program

CB&H would like to congratulate Melanie Burgess for her participation in the National Contract Management Association’s (NCMA) 2007-2008 Contract Management Leadership Development Program (CMLDP). Melanie recently graduated from the year-long program at NCMA’s World Congress held in April 2008.

NCMA’s CMLDP is designed to help develop the next generation of contract management leaders through an intensive year-long educational experience. Program participants receive 180 hours of top quality training in fundamental leadership, soft skills, and contract management. The CMLDP was created to quickly close the gap in leadership progression by accelerating the preparation of a select group of contract management professionals.

Melanie is a Government Contracting Consultant with CB&H, based in the Hampton Roads office. As a member of the Firm’s Government Contractor Services Group, she specializes in government contract and subcontract administration, proposal preparation, indirect rate development, incurred cost proposal assistance, and compliance with the FAR and other federal procurement requirements. She provides advisory services to government contractors across a wide array of concerns, including cradle-to-grave contract administration, DCAA audits, chart of accounts set-up in QuickBooks® for government contractors, collateral exams, internal controls, policies and procedures, government contract compliance matters and proposal pricing assistance.
