Employers and the Families First Coronavirus Response Act
The Families First Coronavirus Response Act (“Act”) signed into law on March 18, 2020 opens up new requirements for many employers. The Act addresses COVID-19 testing, paid family medical leave and sick leave, and creates a refundable tax credit for employers to apply against their FICA and Medicare taxes.
Our presenters will discuss the Act and how it impacts employers, provide examples from recent conversations with businesses, and also review developments in state programs and requirements regarding COVID-19 for employers.
