CPE Seminar

Raleigh | Triangle Technology & Innovation Summit

January 30, 2019

The Triangle Technology & Innovation Summit will feature insightful and timely presentations from Kathleen Holston, Ron Wainwright and Toby Stansell. The two-part seminar will include a detailed analysis of the Wayfair ruling and opportunities to help maximize growth and innovation.

Learning Objectives

Session 1: How the Wayfair Decision Impacts Your Business

Businesses need to understand the impact of the Wayfair ruling on sales and tax use obligations. New economic nexus and reporting requirements are complicating the already murky waters regarding the taxability of products and services. Learn the steps that you can take now to prepare for these changing sales and use tax requirements.

Session 2: Uncovering Overlooked Financial Opportunities

Regardless of how much revenue your industrial company generates, you are likely “leaving money on the table” and not even realizing it. This discussion will highlight opportunities readily available that can fund growth and innovation. This includes minimizing tax liability, deferring or eliminating cash payments, directly providing cash refunds, and better integrating and leveraging people, processes and technology to increase efficiency and maximize profitability.
