Cherry Bekaert LLP (“the Firm”), one of the largest CPA and consulting firms in the country, is proud to welcome Brian Dill as a Tax Principal and the leader of the Firm’s International Tax practice.

In this capacity, Brian will utilize Cherry Bekaert’s global resources to lead in the development and delivery of customized tax solutions for the Firm’s middle market clients. Specifically, he will focus on the international tax and accounting needs of growth-oriented companies in the industrial and manufacturing sectors, as well as those in the technology, software, and health and life sciences industries.

With 20 years of experience, Dill has supported businesses in the areas of global tax structuring and tax planning and intellectual property migration strategies. In addition, he has provided guidance to international mergers and acquisitions, transfer pricing, inbound U.S. investment strategies, and import and export strategies to both publically-held and private corporations.

“As the leader of our International Tax Group, Brian will help our clients navigate the uncertainty of expanding their business overseas, as well as create planning strategies that reduce compliance risks associated with international tax rules,” says Kurt W. Taves, Managing Partner of Cherry Bekaert’s Tax Services. “We’re delighted to have Brian join the Firm, and anticipate our clients will benefit greatly from his global tax planning expertise.”

Before joining Cherry Bekaert, Dill was an international tax principal for a national firm. He also previously held senior international tax positions at two Big Four firms. Furthermore, Dill is well-known in professional circles through his work with the American Bar Association Tax Section.

Dill received a bachelor of business administration (BBA) degree from Baylor University. He later earned a Master of Science in Accountancy from Bentley College; completed the Juris Doctor program at the University of Tulsa College of Law; and received an LLM degree in Taxation at the University of Denver.
