Cherry Bekaert Adds Seven Professionals to Partner Group

Cherry Bekaert (“the firm”) is pleased to announce the promotions of seven professionals to the Firm’s Partner Group, effective May 1, 2020: Ryan Blankenship, CPA; Sean Carlin, CPA, CFA; Sarah Farlow, CPA; Dale Hrapchack, CPA; Adam Hunter, CPA; Jessica Simmons, CPA; and Amber Teague, CPA. Ryan, Sarah, Dale and Amber will serve as Tax Partners, Sean will serve as Advisory Partner, and Adam and Jessica will serve as Assurance Partners.

Based in Cherry Bekaert’s Nashville, TN office, Ryan Blankenship is a Partner in the Tax Services practice. He is focused on privately-held businesses, real estate, healthcare and professional services, and serves as a member of the Firm’s Not-For-Profit Center of Excellence.
Sean Carlin is a Bethesda, MD-based Partner in Cherry Bekaert’s Transaction Advisory Services practice. His industry expertise includes the technology, restaurant, manufacturing and service-related sectors, as well as private equity. Sean advises on mergers and acquisitions, financial due diligence and quality of earnings engagements.
Sarah Farlow, based in Cherry Bekaert’s Charlotte, NC office, is a Partner in the Tax Services practice. She specializes in providing tax consulting and compliance services to multi-state and multi-national companies in the private equity, technology, life sciences and industrial industries.
Based in Cherry Bekaert’s Austin, TX office, Dale Hrapchak is a Partner in the Tax Services practice. He provides tax compliance guidance, tax savings strategies and business management consulting to the real estate, professional services, healthcare and technology industries.
Adam Hunter provides expertise to publicly-traded and private businesses in the areas of revenue recognition, business combinations, complex debt and equity transactions and SEC reporting. He is based in Cherry Bekaert’s Tampa, FL office and serves the technology, healthcare, life sciences and industrial sectors as a Partner in the Assurance Services practice.
Jessica Simmons, based in Cherry Bekaert’s Raleigh, NC office, is a Partner in the Assurance Services practice focusing on the technology, industrial/manufacturing, healthcare and life sciences industries. She addresses financial reporting and advisory needs for emerging growth companies as well as middle-market companies.
Amber Teague is a Partner in the Tax Services practice and is based in Cherry Bekaert’s Austin, TX office. She specializes in providing tax and business consulting guidance to middle-market businesses and their owners. Amber works closely with owner-managed businesses and high net worth individuals to navigate the ever-changing tax landscape through proactive tax planning, consulting and compliance.
