Kyle Nevins Joins as Director in Tax Advisory Services
Cherry Bekaert (the “Firm”) is pleased to welcome Kyle Nevins as a Director in the Firm’s Transaction Tax practice.
For over a decade, Kyle has served private equity firms and public and privately held companies, assisting on domestic and cross-border transactions across a wide range of industries. Kyle’s experience focuses on conducting buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence, advising on tax structuring matters, and modeling tax aspects of transactions.
“We’re very excited to have Kyle join our Transaction Tax team. His strengths in transactional tax issues involving corporate and flow-through restructuring and recapitalization, state and international taxation, tax attribute utilization, and accounting for income taxes, will benefit our private equity fund clients immensely,” said Christopher Truitt, Partner in Cherry Bekaert’s Tax Advisory Services Group and National Transaction Tax Leader.
“The addition of Kyle is yet another step in our efforts to expand our service offerings to fund clients by adding transaction-specific experience to our deal advisory team. Our ability to staff deals with experienced and knowledgeable transaction tax professionals is a distinguishing feature for the Firm and Kyle will be a big part of that,” said Jeff Bengtson, Partner and Cherry Bekaert’s Deal Advisory Practice Leader.
Prior to joining Cherry Bekaert, Kyle worked in M&A tax at a Big Four firm in New York. Before his time in M&A, Kyle provided various tax consulting services, including corporate and partnership tax return compliance, ASC 740 income tax provision support, and assistance with other U.S. federal and state tax matters.
