Michelle Thompson and Collin Hill Honored on Forbes Top 200 CPAs List

Cherry Bekaert (the Firm) is proud to announce Michelle Thompson, Chief Executive Officer, Cherry Bekaert Advisory LLC, and Collin Hill, Chief Executive Officer, Cherry Bekaert LLP, have both been named on the inaugural Forbes Top 200 CPAs list.
This list identifies CPAs with impressive track records in their specialties. Ranked among the finest in public accounting, Michelle and Collin have emerged as leaders in their fields, committed to advancing the CPA profession and giving back to society.
The Forbes Top 200 CPA list is comprised of individuals from diverse backgrounds, geographic regions, and specializations, hailing from Big Four to self-owned firms. Out of more than one thousand eligible candidates, Michelle and Collin were selected as leaders in the profession.
To create the inaugural list, Forbes assembled an editorial team with significant CPA practice background and sought out nominations from various accounting associations and areas of the profession. Eligible candidates were then reviewed, evaluated, and rated in ten weighted categories, including achievements, professional honors, influence on the profession, performance, thought leadership, and innovation.
