A Partner at Cherry Bekaert, Warren is the leader of the Technology and Health & Life Sciences practices for the Washington, D.C. office. He is also a leader of THInc, the Firm’s specialty practice focused on guiding growth through innovation. Clients in the Technology, Health & Life Sciences, and Industrial sectors depend on Warren to help them maximize opportunities for innovation. Additionally, he specializes in transaction advisory, risk management, and capital sourcing with clients in the technology and life sciences industry. Warren has also worked within the areas of manufacturing, distribution and financial services.
Prior to joining the Firm, Warren was chief operating officer (COO) of an AMLAW 50 law firm with over 700 lawyers and 900 administrative staff. As COO, he oversaw all administrative and operational functions including finance and treasury, information systems, human resources and marketing. Warren also spent three years as senior audit assurance partner for a national tax and consulting professional services firm, leading engagement teams into the Midwest and West Coast, and establishing new client engagements both nationally and internationally.
With more than 30 years in professional services, Warren’s experience ranges from financial analyst to managing partner. During his 20 years with a Big Four firm, he held multiple partner roles including managing their local technology assurance practice as well as leading financial advisory due diligence teams for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) with individual transaction values between $50 million to over $1 billion. Warren also cofounded a Virginia-based, NASD-registered broker/dealer investment bank, providing sell-side M&A advisory services for technology and government contracting companies.
