Our Focus Areas
We assist our communities through increasing access to foundational needs and education that enable all to thrive.
Everyone deserves to have their basic needs met. Whether that is food, shelter or clothing, providing the dignity and value of life preserving goods is the foundation to our organization.
Strengthening our family and children resources helps strengthen our communities overall. Whether after school programs, enrichment or civic centers, or opportunities that care and teach, these offerings create a backbone on which community members can rely.
Our brightest future is in tomorrow’s youth. By investing in equal access to education, including programs for financial literacy, we can help build a foundation for our next generations opportunity and potential.
Ways We Work
The Cherry Bekaert Foundation supports local initiatives that are important to our people, educates for and promotes philanthropic engagement and gives to causes that create impact for our areas of focus.
Connecting employees to volunteer activities and supporting community service initiatives throughout the year.
Creating a better future by providing resources and training to inspire philanthropy and giving back to our communities.
Making a difference in the communities where we live, work, and play through organizations that align with our areas of focus.
Throughout the year, we encourage our people to take time to give back to local organizations meaningful to them. As active community members and leaders, we continue to expand and enhance our volunteerism and opportunities.
