Cherry Bekaert partner Daniel Mennel will be speaking at Morgan Lewis’s Eighth Annual Research & Development Tax Symposium on Thursday, November 10th. The symposium is once again virtual this year, and the topic is “Special Issues in Preparing and Defending Software Development Claims.”
The symposium runs over the course of two days – Tuesday, November 8 and Thursday, November 10, and focuses on the latest developments impacting the research and development tax credit under Internal Revenue Code Section 41 and best practices for claiming and documenting the research credit and defending research credit claims on audit. It is designed for corporate tax directors, tax managers, accountants, and other tax professionals who assist companies that engage in technology credit and have credit-qualifying activities and costs. CPE and CLE credit will be available for various sessions.
