Cherry Bekaert Names Steven A. Wolf Partner

Cherry Bekaert LLP (“the Firm”) is proud to announce that Steven A. Wolf has been promoted to Partner in the Firm’s Litigation Support Practice. Steve previously served as a Director in this Practice where he focuses on providing forensic and dispute resolution services to clients across the United States.

With more than 25 years of professional consulting experience, Steve delivers valuable insights to our clients that are involved in complex, dispute matters to assist them to more effectively manage their overall financial risks. Steve previously assisted law firms, federal agencies and C-Suite executives on hundreds of disputed economic and forensic accounting matters involving complex commercial contract claims, internal investigations, partnership and shareholder disputes, and construction claims. Additionally, he has participated in engagements involving post-acquisition disputes involving issues, economic damages, lost profits, wage earnings loss, equitable distribution, professional liability claims and bankruptcy matters. Steve has also consulted with or provided expert testimony on some of the most notable litigation cases of the past twenty years including Enron, Madoff Investment Securities, Freddie Mac and Bear Sterns. Steve has testified as an expert witness in many jurisdictions including Federal courts, state courts, mediations and appraisals.

A graduate of Binghamton University, Steve received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He later earned a Master of Business Administration from Temple University. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Florida and Maryland, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the American Society of Appraisers, and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Steve also holds several professional designations relevant to business valuation and forensic accounting including Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA), Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV), and Certification in Financial Forensics (CFF) and as a Fraud Examiner (CFE). He also served as an adjunct professor of forensic accounting at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., and has also guest lectured at the University of Miami.
