Daniel Mennel Joins as a Tax Partner in Strategic Tax Advisory Services

Cherry Bekaert (“the Firm”) is pleased to welcome Daniel Mennel, CPA, as a Tax Partner with the Firm’s Strategic Tax Advisory Services where he is helping to lead the Credits and Accounting Methods practice.
Dan is responsible for Research & Development (“R&D”) tax credit services in the Firm’s West Coast region, as well as expanding Cherry Bekaert’s Credits and Accounting Methods technology solutions in all marketplaces. He also assists clients with the Employee Retention Credit under the CARES Act.

Dan is a certified public accountant with more than two decades of experience helping clients perform studies, implement R&D software solutions and negotiate IRS and State Agency settlements. Prior to joining Cherry Bekaert, Dan was a Tax Partner with a top ten accounting and advisory firm and also spent 10 years building the West Coast R&D practice for a Big Four firm.
