Joe Schwarz Joins as Assurance Partner in Private Equity

Cherry Bekaert (“the Firm”) is pleased to welcome Joseph (Joe) Schwarz, CPA as an Assurance Partner to the Firm’s Private Equity Industry practice.
With more than a decade of experience auditing alternative investment funds, Joe advises clients with their private equity and credit products, as well as various accounting matters related to their portfolio companies and investments. Joe works closely with clients in the private equity, venture capital, hedge fund, fund-of-fund and registered investment company industries. Joe’s expertise in auditing alternative investment firms, auditing funds, and alternative investment vehicles is a key asset to the Firm.

Prior to joining Cherry Bekaert, Joe served as an audit director at a Big Four firm in both New York and Philadelphia, where he was a key team member in its alternative investment audit practice. Since joining Cherry Bekaert, he has relocated to South Florida.
