What Financial Transparency Looks Like in 2026 – June 11, 9:45 – 10:35 A.M.
Community colleges are held to a high bar of public accountability, yet even a well prepared Annual Financial Report can be difficult for boards, taxpayers, students, employees and lenders to interpret quickly. In this session, we will translate financial transparency and accountability into what stakeholders need, including clear explanations of results, focused disclosures that support decision making, and timely, consistent communication supported by visuals and plain language.
We’ll highlight FY26 required reporting changes that can affect how colleges present and explain their financial story. Additionally, we’ll provide a short demonstration of how artificial intelligence can make it easier to produce stakeholder‑friendly dashboards and summary reports, helping finance teams move from “compliance done” to “clarity delivered,” without creating tons of extra work for finance teams.
