Situation
An advanced technology business unit of a global engineering and robotics company is made up of multiple divisions, both government and commercial. The company is a subsidiary to a much larger, primarily commercial, publicly traded company and needed assistance complying with governing regulations.

Cherry Bekaert assisted with analyzing the company’s cost structure and pricing models. We developed business processes within the constraints of an Oracle (non-government compliant) accounting system and prepared disclosure statements.
Result
The Firm continues to advise the client on Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) applicability and other GovCon matters, as well as provide government audit support when necessary.
